U"I <br />Fq <br />PRODUCT DESCRIPTION <br />DURALAGG is a versatile and innovative pre -formed plastic structural component <br />designed for assembly with vertical supporting members as a structural retaining wall. <br />The hollow plastic components are made of 100%n reevcled plastic that is unaffected <br />by normal temperature variations, rust, rot, mildew, insect infestations, salt water and <br />most chemicals excepting those of a corrosive nature. <br />DURALAGG can be used in any construction application where heavy timber would <br />be used for short spans (up to eight feet). The face dimension currently available is <br />one foot by six feet per unit; virtually any dimension up to four feet by eight feet is <br />possible. <br />DURALAGG is placed between soldier piles in the same manner as wood lagging. <br />For higher walls and heavier soil loadings, DURALAGG can be easily fitted with <br />reinforcing bars and filled with concrete or ccmentious grout. Foamed plastic infill is <br />also availble for appropriate applications. <br />Straight and curved wall configurations are easily constructed with the same compo- <br />nent. Design of specific footing, soldier pile penetration, sizing and reinforcing steel <br />is performed by your structural engineer using verified field condition. <br />
