These comments address budding issues only. Additional revisions or additions may be required by other departments (such as Utilities, Planning or Fire). All references refer to the (2006 International Building Code,) (2006 International Residential Code,) as amended by the State of Washington and/or Washington State Energy Code 2006 Edition, and adopted by the City of Everett, unless stated otherwise. In order for the processing of your application to continue, it will be necessary to provide the Building Division with two new complete sets of drawings reflecting the corrections requested. 1. New constriction requires I1-21 insulation. Provide 2 x 6 construction on 24' long wall (short walls may be 2 x 4 constriction). 2. Provide 110 volt smoke alarms per Section R313 IRC; show requirements on plans. 3. All new windows to be U-0.35 or less; show on plans. 4. Specify moisture barrier and siding on section view. 5. Provide approved metal strap fiont existing top plate to new wall; show on plans. 6. The "attic truss" shown does not match the pitch specified. The "trusses" shown appear to be a much lower pitch. 7. '1'hc plans do not show the gable end of the roof extending beyond the exterior wall as shown in the isometric view; please clarify. 8. drawings shall be drawn to a standard architectural scale; typiczlly '/o" = l'0", etc. Please prepare a response letter showing where each item in this correction letter is addressed on the plan set.
