Woodstoves and fireplaces have outside combustion air ducted to <br /> firebox, with accessible damper. <br /> 11 . Fireplaces have tight-fitting flue dampers . <br /> 12. All gas or oil combustion appliances have direct vent or forced draft <br /> venting. <br /> Air Sealing: <br /> 1 . Al1 plumbing, electrical and HVAC penetrations in floors, wall and <br /> ceilings are caulked and sealed. <br /> 2. Where penetrations need a firestop, discuss with your building <br /> department. <br /> 3. Electrical outlet and light switch boxes on exterior walis must t� <br /> sealed at the back of the recepticai or sealed with face plate gaskets. <br /> 4.
