Woodstoves a�d fireplaces have outside combustion air ducted to <br /> firebox, with accessible damper. <br /> 11 . Fireplaces have tight-`it� ..�g flue dampers. <br /> 12. All gas or oil combustion appliances have direct vent or forced draft <br /> venting. <br /> Air Sealing: <br /> 1 . All plumbing, electrical and HVAC penetrations in floors, wall and <br /> ceilings are caulked and sealed. <br /> 2. Where penetration� need a firestop, discuss with your building <br /> department. <br /> 3. Electrical outlet and light switch boxes on exterior walls must be <br /> sealed at tf,e back of the receptical or sealed with face piate gaskets. <br /> 4.
