These comments address building issues only, additional <br /> revisions or additions may be required by other departments (such as Utilities, <br /> Planning or Fire). All references refer to the 1994 Uniform Building Code, as <br /> amended by the State of Washington State Energy Code 1995 Edition, unless <br /> stated otherN�ise. <br /> In order for the processing of your application to continue, it will be <br /> necesaary to provide the Building Division with two complete new sets <br /> of drawings reflecting the corrections requested. <br /> 1. Braced wall lines shall consist of braced wall panels which meet the <br /> requirements for location, type and amount of bracing specified in Section <br /> 2326.4.1 and Table 23-I-W, and are in line or offset from each other by not <br /> more than 4 feet (1219 mm). E'raced wall panels shall start at not more than 8 <br /> feet 12438 mm) from each end of a braced wall line. All braced wall panels <br /> shall be clearly indicated on the plans. Construction of braced wall panels shall <br /> be by one of the methods listed in Section 2326.11 .3 UBC. <br /> 2. The water closet stool in all occupancies shall be located in a clear space not <br /> less than 30" (762 mm) in width. The clear space in front of the water closet <br /> stool shall be not less than 24" (E10 mm►. Section 2904 UBC <br /> 3. Provide all dimensions on foundation plan and floor plans. <br /> 4. Provide min. 36" landing not more than 8" below the finished floor at all <br /> exterior entrance/exits. Show on plans. <br /> 5. Provide typical section at house/garage and at garage exterior wall. Show and <br /> label ali components. <br /> 6. Provide double joists under interior braced wali panels when panels are parallel <br /> to joists. Provide solid blocking under braced wall panels when braced panels <br /> are perpendicular to floor joists.
