The revised development area on Lot 26 was
approved by the Planned Action Determination dated October 14, 2002 (copy
attached). l7ie site plan for both lots was also approved.
The reason Scott wants to proceed is primarily due to the fact that both lots
need to be filled (import of material). The sites need to be filled due to the site
constraints posed by the existing Snohomish PUD. No, 1 power vault cabinets
and associated shallow depth underground transmission lines. To relocate these
facilities is not economically feasible.
By obtaining a clearing and grading permit, ScotYs contractor can make known
to other developers and earthwork contrectors in the area which have excess
suitable fiil that these sites are available for placement of fill with the provision
that such fill material is tested regarding its suitability and that it is placed and
compacted under the supervision of a qualified geotechnical professional.
Regarding site clearing, the approved development areas on Lots 2A & 26 do not
have any substantial trees. Both sites have previously been cleared and
primarily consist of scrub alders and invasive shrubs.
whpaciliccom planners surveyors engmeers landscapearchlfecfs
