. , <br /> ��i/8L/� �r� <br /> MEMORANDUM <br /> TO: Gordon Witcher <br /> FROM: Mike Wazd <br /> DATE: September 13, 1996 <br /> ,��._._ <br /> SUBJECT,•r 3430 Sevenich Drive� <br /> �. �_ . <br /> On 2/9/96 we received a call that water was running over a bank a.the intersection of 35th St and <br /> Snohomish Ave. <br /> Our investigation discovered that a 6tting that a contractor had installed on the customer side of <br /> the 2" meter for 3430 Sevenich Dr had pulled apart and the resulting water flow washed a portion <br /> of the hillside away. <br /> • � <br /> ( Thero was a utiliry pole placed about 6 ft north of the meter. Enough dirt had washed away to <br /> cause the PUD to tie the pole back tu the guardrail and eventually set a pole in a new location for <br /> both power and telephone to be strung on. <br /> The washout also caueed sewer lines for this same address to be exposed. <br /> It was and is our opinion that it is the property owners' responsibility to have the hiliside restored. <br /> It has r.ot bcen done as of9/13/96 and is now endangering the road bed. <br /> In the only conversation I had with Mr. Rucker he indicated to me he was dealing with his <br /> insurance company to gei the slide ar�a backfilled. <br /> cc: Tom Thetford <br /> Gerry Crum <br /> SIREEfS:SEVENICH(Y19/IY96) <br />
