The Uniform Building Code <br /> provides that all permits expire by limitation if the work authorized by the permit is suspended or <br /> abandoned at any time after work is commenced for a period of 180 days. If you wish to prevent <br /> the permits &om expiring without documentation of completion, you may: <br /> 1) Request inspections of work that has occuned,to document continuing progress, <br /> or 2) Request final inspections of the work that is completed, <br /> or 3) Submit a written request for a 180 day extension. <br /> Please provide the petmit number when requestin; ��spections or extensions.
