01011,..."11 <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 4735 <br /> A RESOLUTION amending the 1999 - 2004 Annual Transportation Improvement Plan <br /> (6 year T.I.P.), and conforming the existing 38th Street Railway Overcrossing <br /> and Riverside Parkway planning designation to the preferred <br /> 41st Street Overcrossing and corridor alignment. <br /> WHEREAS, in compliance with RCW 35.77.010 the Everett City Council adopted the 1999 - <br /> 2004 Annual Transportation Improvement Plan (6 year T.I.P.) on June 24, 1998 which <br /> included the 38th Street Railway Overcrossing and Riverside Parkway Project planning <br /> designation; and <br /> WHEREAS, the City of Everett hired Perteet Engineering Inc., Everett, to prepare roadway <br /> corridor alignment alternatives for the Overcrossing and Parkway consistent with the above- <br /> referenced planning designation. Calculations included roadway geometrics, traffic impacts, <br /> sensitive area impacts, surface water options, railroad track configuration options, right of way <br /> options, impacts to adjoining properties, project costs, project schedule and project <br /> constructability; and <br /> WHEREAS, based on this analysis the Everett City Council has determined that the 41'Street <br /> corridor alignment best meets the current and future City transportation needs, as reflected in <br /> the above-referenced planning designation, best fits the immediate and long term goals of the <br /> City, has the least project impacts, and is the preferred roadway alignment. <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br /> EVERETT that the 1999 - 2004 Annual Transportation Improvement Plan (6 year T.I.P.) be <br /> amended as follows: <br /> Designate the Minor Arterial priority #1 project named "38th Street Railway Overcrossing and <br /> Riverside Parkway" as the "41st Street Overcrossing and Riverfront Parkway", to conform and <br /> narrow the general designation to refer to a preferred corridor alignment. <br /> r <br /> , - ,-1... ,f 4.---,-t ----,)----„,_, <br /> , , <br /> Councilmember Introdu ing Resolution <br /> Passed as approved this 24th day of March , 1999 <br /> Al�� <br /> Council President <br />
