. RESOLUTION NO. 4725 A RESOLUTION authorizing the sale or trade of City Real Property generally located at the S.W. Corner of Terrace Drive and 41s`Street WHEREAS, review of the property described in Exhibit "A" has been completed by all City Departments and Administration; and WHEREAS, the Everett City Council finds and determines that the real property described in Exhibit "A" is not and will not be needed for City purposes; and WHEREAS, the Everett City Council finds that the City has complied with the requirements of Section 15.8 of the City Charter and requirements of Resolution No. 1984, except as modified herein; and WHEREAS, the City of Everett is seeking similar property along the same alignment for the 41s` Street Improvement Project; NOW THEREFORE,BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF EVERETT as follows: Section 1: The real property described in Exhibit "A" is not and will not be needed for City purposes and is, therefore, declared to be surplus property. Section 2: 1. The real property described in Exhibit "A" shall be made available for trade for other needed property on terms agreeable to the City Council. 2. Should a trade as described in Section 2 (1) above, not prove workable, the real property described in Exhibit"A" shall be marketed and sold through the process outlined in Section 15.8 of the City Charter and Resolution No. 1984. Section 3: At the direction of City staff, the City Clerk will publish a notice of intention to sell the property in accordance with Section 15.8 of the Charter of the City of Everett.
