. <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 4725 <br /> A RESOLUTION authorizing the sale or trade of <br /> City Real Property generally located at the <br /> S.W. Corner of Terrace Drive and 41s`Street <br /> WHEREAS, review of the property described in Exhibit "A" has been completed by all <br /> City Departments and Administration; and <br /> WHEREAS, the Everett City Council finds and determines that the real property <br /> described in Exhibit "A" is not and will not be needed for City purposes; and <br /> WHEREAS, the Everett City Council finds that the City has complied with the <br /> requirements of Section 15.8 of the City Charter and requirements of Resolution No. <br /> 1984, except as modified herein; and <br /> WHEREAS, the City of Everett is seeking similar property along the same alignment <br /> for the 41s` Street Improvement Project; <br /> NOW THEREFORE,BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE <br /> CITY OF EVERETT as follows: <br /> Section 1: <br /> The real property described in Exhibit "A" is not and will not be needed for City purposes <br /> and is, therefore, declared to be surplus property. <br /> Section 2: <br /> 1. The real property described in Exhibit "A" shall be made available for trade for other <br /> needed property on terms agreeable to the City Council. <br /> 2. Should a trade as described in Section 2 (1) above, not prove workable, the real <br /> property described in Exhibit"A" shall be marketed and sold through the process <br /> outlined in Section 15.8 of the City Charter and Resolution No. 1984. <br /> Section 3: <br /> At the direction of City staff, the City Clerk will publish a notice of intention to sell the <br /> property in accordance with Section 15.8 of the Charter of the City of Everett. <br /> 'ounci erson Introd7ng Resolution <br /> PASSED and APPROVED this 24th day of February of 1999. <br /> ounci President <br />
