The height of this particular exit makes it <br /> especially vulnerable during an emergency which may occur at anytime. <br /> Likewise, a handrail for the stairway to the balcony is an important safety <br /> feature. Falls down stairways are nearly a:ways scrious. A handrail must be <br /> provided if this stairway remains open. <br /> The origin3l inspection, which noted these violations, was made in July of <br /> 1984, or eight months ago. This should have been more than suffident time to <br /> compiete these two very important features. <br /> The continuance of the Certificate of Occupancy �y the City of Lverett <br /> Building Department and issuance of an Everett Fire Departmeni Permit depend <br /> on timely canpletion as previously ordered. <br /> h'e shall expect to hear from you, in writing, detailing a scheduled time of <br /> completion. A set of plans showing details cf proposed consttvciion must be <br /> submitted to the Duilding Ik partment (259-8745) prior to a Building Permit <br /> being issixd and all work must be inspected and approved before a permit for <br /> assembly can be issued. <br /> Thank you for your prompt attention to tiiis matter.
