AVEr 7:: s 400 RESOLUTION NO. 4691 A RESOLUTION authorizing the sale of City owned real property located at 1994 Grip Road, in Skagit County, Washington WHEREAS, the City of Everett acquired the real property located at 1994 Grip Road, Skagit County, as described in Exhibit"A" (which is attached hereto and incorporated herein by reference) in accordance with the"Drug Forfeiture Act" in the case of Skagit County Cause No. 98-2-00261-4; and WHEREAS, the City's need for the said property has been reviewed by all City Departments and Administration; and WHEREAS, the Everett Real Estate Committee recommends to City Council that said property be declared surplus to the City's needs; and WHEREAS, City Council finds and determines that said property, is not and will not be needed for City purposes; and WHEREAS, the City Council finds that the City has complied with the requirements of Section 15.8 of the City Charter and Resolution No. 1984; and WHEREAS, the City Council requests that the City, through the Real Estate Department, pursue a sale of said property in accordance with the provisions of Section 15.8 of the City Charter and Resolution No. 1984; NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF EVERETT as follows: 1. The real property described in Exhibit"A" which is hereby accepted by the City is not and will not be needed for City purposes and is, therefore, declared to be surplus property. 2. The real property described in Exhibit "A" shall be marketed and sold through the process outlined in Section 15.8 of the City Charter and Resolution No. 1984. 3. Proceeds from the sale of the property described in Exhibit "A" shall be distributed as follows: a. all costs associated with the sale shall be deducted from the proceeds and placed in the City's Real Property Acquisition
