tvaidi RESOLUTION NO. 4676 A RESOLUTION accepting the petition and setting a hearing date for the proposed vacation of Nassau Street lying North of Califonia Avenue, West of Block 620, Plat of Everett, Division C, and East of the BNSF Railroad Right of Way WHEREAS, the owners of more than two-thirds of the front footage abutting the street, described as follows: Nassau Street BEGINNING at the Southeast corner of Block 619, Plat of Everett, Division "C", according to the plat thereof, recorded in Volume 3 of Plats, Page 70, records of Snohomish County, Washington; THENCE, North along the East line of said block to intersect the Southeasterly line of the Burlington Northern/Santa Fe Railroad right of way; THENCE,Northeasterly along said Southeasterly right of way line to intersect the West line of Block 620 of said plat; THENCE, South along said West line of said block to the Southwest corner thereof; THENCE, West along the Westerly projected North right of way line of California Avenue to the Southeast corner of Block 619 of said plat,and the POINT of BEGINNING and shown on the attached sketch, have petitioned for the vacation of said right-of-way; WHEREAS, R.C.W. 35.79.010 provides that City Council shall, by resolution, fix a date for public hearing on said petition; NOW,THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL FOR THE CITY OF EVERETT that a public hearing be set for November 25th, 1998 at 8:30A.M. in the City Council Chambers, City Hall,to consider the proposed vacation of aforesaid right-of-way as herein described.
