Box 1685 Bellevue, WA 98009 ProjecL• Everett Community Theater Address: 2710 Wetmore Ave. RE: Low Mortar Breaks Dear Mr. Akre, In an effort to solve thc continuing problem of low seven—day results on mortar samples, we have requested that the Job Superintendent for the above mentioned job, Roy Akre, to provide lechnical data on the admixtures used by the Masonry Sub—Contracror. Enclosed please find a copy of the informatio� received from the Manufacturer. This data confirms our thoughts on the low initial test results, as well as the actual facts, that even with the low initial test results the twenty—eight day tests are generally meeting the design requirements. We have directed our technician at the jabsite to monitor the additian of this admixture, and vigorously enforce the proportions used to meet the manufacturers specifications. We hope this answers yout concern regarding the low initial results of the mortar. We will continue to monitor the use of this product unless direded otherwise.
