W�iMIXOMN <br /> ..:e� <br /> RE: FIRE PREVENTION REINSPECTION IIRtD[��IITMtNT <br /> A reinspection was made of the buildi�g located at 2722 Colby-- <br /> the MEDICAL DENTAL BUILOING. This reinspection was made to check <br /> your comF:iance in removing the violations listed in the ffrst <br /> two inspecttco letters. The following items are in violation of <br /> the Fire and Life Safety Code and demand immediate action: <br /> 1 . Seal wit!� a fire-resist�ive material with a U.L. rating eF one <br /> hour, the t;re escapes on the north end of the building so that <br /> both are sepai�ated from the drug store. <br /> 2. Install and maintain in Lhe closed position a fire door with a <br /> U.L. rating of one hour, or equivalent. Said door is to have <br /> a self-closing device as follows: � <br /> a. the center fire escape on all floors <br /> b. from Room 635 to the north fire escape <br /> 3. ?he stairway fire door(s) must be maintained :elf-closing <br /> ard remain in the closed position, except when in ac:ual use as <br /> follows: <br /> a. the fifth floor have no latches <br /> 4. It is questionable that the halls are one hour rated, ceiling tiles <br /> don't appear ratec� and walls are penetrated with transoms and glass <br /> in and around the doors. Also, many of the doors have louvers <br /> in them. <br /> In 14 days, a tinal inspection of these premis�s will be conducted <br /> by the Fire �•larhsal 's Division.
