July 23, 2009 <br />Mr. John Saxon <br />Building owner <br />1204 32nd Street NE <br />Auburn, WA 98002 <br />Re: New ordinance effective September 1, 2009 <br />Oear building owner and/or tenantfs), <br />On June 10, �J09, the Everett City Council adopted Ordinance 3127-09, regulating <br />exterior building minimum maintenance and street-level vacant commercial space in the <br />Central Business District (CBD). <br />The intent of the ordinance is to help prolect the downtown streetscape and encourage <br />economic development in one of the City's important retail and business centers. This <br />ordinance establishes minimum maintenance requirements for structures in the CBD in <br />an effort to keep the streetscape vibrant and attractive. <br />The ordinance becomes effective September 1, 2009. A full copy of the ordinance is <br />enclosed with this letter.
