This design is based on an existing condition and
use, which has a relatively low intensity relative to occupants.
The fourth level cannot be used unless a second means of egress is provided
that complies with the requirements of the current Uniform Building Code.
The first level could be used as retail or office space without modification.
Any use oP the second or third level other than furniture retail will require
the addition of a second exit that complies with the current Unifoim Building
Cot1e.
Use of the basement level is another issue and will be addressed in a separate
letter.
If you have any questions, please r.all me at 259-ti810.
Sincerely,
ALFRED R.
