MEMORANDUM <br />Tp; WAYNE WENTZ <br />FROM: MARIAN DENT, HOUSING INSPECTOR � <br />DATE: MAY 2, 1994 <br />SUBJ• 2815 WETMORE• FIRE ESCAPE IN ALLEY <br />Av�. <br />I received a complaint form a city crew reguding a fire escape on this building <br />protruding into the alley. The problem with the fire escape is that it had been hit by a <br />truck and one of the supports on the escape was now protruding into the alley faz <br />enough to cause damage to luge delivery wcks. <br />After taldng a look at the situation, I called the owner's office and left a message <br />advising him of the problem. He called back and asked what he could do to prevent <br />Wcks from hitting the escape. I suggested painting the escape a bright color. He <br />asked if the city could limit the s�ze of the trucks using the alley and possibly post signs <br />at the Pacific entrance to the alley indicating the narrow tum between the north & south <br />alley and the east & west alley at the Bon Parking garage which has an entrance from <br />Rockefeller. <br />I told him that 1 couid not answer his questions but would have someone call him and <br />let him know if the City coald help. <br />Could you c:all the owner, Shaun <br />possibly answer their yuesticns? <br />� <br />Hughes, 283-6646 (his office), Lori may answer, and <br />
