July 23, 2009 <br />Mr. Ross Miller <br />Building owner <br />4218 Mission Beach Drive <br />Marysville, WA 98270 <br />Re: New ordinance effective September 1, 2009 <br />Oear building owner and/or tenant(s), <br />On June 10, 2009, the Everett City Council adopted Ordinance 3127-09, regulating <br />exterior building minimum maintenance and street-level vacant commercial space in the <br />Central Business District (CBD). <br />The intent of the ordinance is to help protect the downtown streetscape and encourage <br />economic develo�,nent in one oi the City's important retail and business cenlers. This <br />ordinance establishes minimum maintenance req�irements for structures in the CBD in <br />an effort to keep }he streelscape vibrant and altractive. <br />The ordinance becomes effective September 1, 2009. A full copy of the ordinance is <br />enclosed with this letter.
