July 23, 3009 <br />Hopkins Everett LLC <br />Building owner <br />500 South Myrtle Street <br />Sealtle, WA 98108 <br />Re: New ordinance effective September 1, 2009 <br />Dear building owner a�d/or tenanl(s), <br />On June 10, 2009, lhe Everett City Council adopted Ordinance 3127-09, regulating <br />exterior building minimum maintenance and slreet-level vacant commercial space in the <br />Central Business District (CBD). <br />The inlent of the ordinance is lo help protect the downtown streetscape and encourage <br />economic development in �ne of the City's imporianl retail and business centers. This <br />ordinance establishes minimum maintenance requirements for structures in the CBD in <br />an effort to keep the streetscape vibrant and attractive. <br />The ordinance becomes eftective September 1, 2009. A full copy of the ordinance is <br />enclosed with this letter.
