July 23, 2009 <br />Mr. and Mrs. Peter Sikov <br />Building owners <br />PO Box 22286 <br />Sealtle, WA 98122 <br />Re: New ordinance eHective September 1, 2009 <br />Dear building owner and/or tenant(s), <br />On June 10, 2009, the Everett City Council adopted Ordinance 3127-09, regulating <br />exterior building minimum maintenance and street-level vacanl commercial space in the <br />C;entral Business District (CBD). <br />The intent of the ordinance is to help protec� :he downtown streetscape and encourage <br />economic development in one of the City's important retail and business centers. This <br />ordinance establishes minimum maintenance requirements for structures in the CBD in <br />an effort to keep the streetscape vibrant and attractive. <br />The ordinance becomes eKective September 1, 2009. A full copy of the ordinance is <br />enclosed with this letter.
