March 1, 2017 <br /> The regular meeting of the Everett City Council was called to order at 6:30 <br /> p.m., March 1, 2017, in the City Council Chambers of the William E. <br /> Moore Historic City Hall, Council President Tuohy presiding. Upon roll call, <br /> it was found that Mayor Stephanson and Council Members Roberts, <br /> Moore, Murphy, Franklin, Bader, Stonecipher, and Tuohy were present. <br /> Council Member Roberts led the Pledge of Allegiance. <br /> The minutes of the February 22, 2017, City Council meeting were <br /> approved as printed. Council Member Bader abstained from the vote. <br /> MAYOR <br /> Mayor Stephanson had no comments. <br /> COUNCIL <br /> Council Member Stonecipher asked about the current hours of operation <br /> at Everett Transit Customer Service Center, stating a citizen reached out <br /> after it was closed during a normally open hour. <br /> Debra Bryant, Administration, stated she would report back to Council. <br /> Council Member Moore expressed condolences to Mayor Stephanson on <br /> the death of his father. <br /> Council Member Roberts also provided his condolences to the Mayor. He <br /> provided his liaison report from the Silver Lake neighborhood meeting. He <br /> thanked the Legal and IT Departments for their work on the upcoming <br /> City-wide email retention policy and stated council members have until <br /> March 24 to archive their emails. <br /> Council Member Bader also passed along condolences to the Mayor. He <br /> also provided an update from the Visioning Committee. <br /> President Tuohy stated the Office of Neighborhoods is currently accepting <br /> nominations for the Monte Cristo Awards, and adding a new category this <br /> 74 <br />
