July 23, 2009 <br />Limited Partnership <br />Building owners <br />8832 163rd Avenue SE <br />Snohomish, WA 98290-6114 <br />Re: New ordinance effective September 1, 2009 <br />Dear building owner and/or tenant(s), <br />On June 10, 2009, the Everett C�!y Council adopted Ordinance 3127-09, regulating <br />exterior building minimum maintenance and street-lavel vacant commercial space in the <br />Central Business District (CBD). <br />The intent of the ordinance is to help protect the downtown streetscape and encourage <br />economic development in une of the C:.y's important retail and business centers. This <br />ordinance establishes minimum maintenance requirements for structures in the CBD in <br />an efforl to keep the streetscape vibrant and attractive. <br />�i ne ordinance becomes effective September 1, 2009. A full copy of the ordinance is <br />enclosed with this letter.
