Aboveground sprinkler piping shall be hydrostaticaily tested as established in NFPA <br />Standard 13. Underground piping shall be hydrostatically tested and flushed as <br />established in NFPA Standard 24 for private fire mains. (Below-suound pfpinst mu <br />certifled "U" installers. Call (425) 257-8124 <br />to make an appointment for inspection. <br />Contractors' materials and test certificates shall be submitted to the Everett Fire <br />Department prior to issuance of any Certificates of Occupancy. <br />Call (425) 257-8123 for more information. <br />10. Construction and demolition of buildings shall be in compliance with the provisions of <br />the 2003 International Fire Code, Chapter 14. <br />11. Permits are required from the Fire Department for removal and installation of <br />underground fuel tanks. <br />12. Abandoned tanks shall be pumped out and the fuel properly disposed of prior to <br />removal. No product or rinse water may be disposed of in such a way that it could enter <br />the storm drains system. <br />13. A!I fire alarm control panels (FACP) and sprinkler valves shall be in heated rooms or <br />closets with standard man door access. Locations shall be approved by the Fire <br />Marshal's Office. <br />14. Trash Collection - Dumpsters over 1.5 cubic yards capacity shall be located a minimum <br />of 5 feet from the building [IFC 304.3.3, 2003 Edition]. <br />15. Securitv Fence - Any security fence erected around the construction site shall be <br />located so as to not obstruct any existing hydrant, fire protection equipment, or Fire <br />Department access.
