Additional revisions or additions <br />may be required by other departments (such as Utilities, Planning or Fire). All references <br />refer to the 1997 Uniform Building code, as amended by the State of Washington and/or <br />the Washington State Energy Code, 1997 edition, unless noted otherwise. <br />This review does not cover submitted mechanical, sprinkler, electrical or plumbing <br />documents — these permits must be obtained separately and may require further review <br />and suLmission of plans. <br />In order for the processing of your application to continue, it will be nece,ssary to <br />provide the Building Division with two complete new sets of drawings reflectlng the <br />corrections requested. <br />Upon further consultation, we are reversing our previous decision to require an <br />accessible entrance (parking space, ramp and doorway) as long as the total cost of <br />all alterations to this facility within any 12-month period amounts to 60 percent or <br />more of the appraised value. Therefore, if you do not desire to build the parking <br />spacc and elevated walkway, then please remove Ihem from the construction <br />drawings. <br />2. Guardrails are required on each side of the rebuilt front stairway. They can have <br />no openings in which a 4" diameter sphere may pass through. The height of the <br />guardrail must be between 34" and 38" above the tread nosings.
