Detailed drawings in accordance with City Design and Construction Standards shall be submitted to the Public Works Department showing site parking layout, landscaping, utilities, storm drainage, temporary construction erosion control, and all required improvements in the public right-of-way. Public Works Department approval of these drawings is required prior to any permits being issued. All improvements shall be completed, approved, and warranted before the Occupancy Permit is issued. 2. City streets and alleys are to be kept clear of dirt and debris at all times during construction. Dust suppression and street cleaning must occur as directed oy the Public Works Inspector. 3. Performance guarantees are required for the curb, gutter and sidewalk. 4. Monitored intrusion i.e. alarm system zoned for each proposed use must be provided, and 2 fire exits from the 3rd floor must be provided. 5. A one-year guarantee is required on the public street, utility and site landscaping for an amount not less than 10% of the cost of construction and shall run for one year from the date of issuance of the first Occupancy Permit for the project. 6. The Police Department has the following security recommendations: a. The perimeter doors should be solid core with 190 degree to 220 degree wide angle viewers and single cylinder deadbolts with 1" throw and at least 3" screws securing striker plate. b. Bay windows should overlook the parking lot for increased security of vehicles. C. Sliding glass doors should have charlie bars installed for optimum security. d. Lighting of the parking lot should be a minimum of 1-2 foot candles. e.
