There is dry rot and general dilapidation throughout the building generated by a lack of maintenance. 7. The yard is overgrown with vegetation. II. The Building Official has found that the building on the above described property may endanger the life, health, property or safety of the public and is rendered dangerou, pursuant to the provisions of the Uniform Code for the Abatement of Dangerot s Buildings Code, Sec. 302, noting the following: 1. The building exists in violation of specific requirements applicable to such buildings provided by the building regulations of this jurisdiction, as specified in the Building Code and Housing Code as adopted by Ordinance of this jurisdiction relating to the condition of buildings. 2. The building is a nuisance and a hazard to the public, an attractive nuisance to children, and a harbor for vagrants. 3. The building is in such a condition as to constitute a public nuisance known to the common law or in equity jurisprudence. Ill. The above described building shall either be repaired in accordance with all current Building Code requirements and all other applicable City of Everett codes or demolished. IV. If the owners elect to repair the building in accordance with the current Building Code requirements, all required permits must be secured therefore, and the work pliysically commenced within sixty (60) days of the date of this Order All %%ork must be completed within ninety (90) days of the date of this Order.
