3. Windows and doors have been destroyed. <br />4. The building is open to the public, is a harbor for vagrants, and has <br />become an attractive nuisance to inquisitive minors in the area. <br />5. The roof of the building is rotted and requires replacing <br />6. The exterior wood components of the building and interior of the <br />building lack protection from the weather elements. <br />7. There is dry rot and general dilapidation throughout the building <br />generated by a lack of maintenance. <br />7. The yard is overgrown with vegetation. <br />11. The Building Official has found that the building on the above described <br />property may endanger the life, health, property or safety of the public and is rendered <br />dangerous pursuant to the provisions of the Uniform Code for the Abatement of <br />Dangerous Buildings Code, Sec. 302, noting the following: <br />,The building exists in violation of specific requirements applicable to <br />such buildings provided by the building regulations of this jurisdiction, <br />as specified in the Building Code and Housing Code as adopted by <br />Ordinance of this jurisdiction relating to the condition of buildings. <br />2. The building is a nuisance and a hazard to the public, an attractive <br />nuisance to children, and a harbor for vagrants. <br />3. The building is in such a condition as to constitute a public nuisance <br />known to the common law or in equity jurisprudence. <br />111. The above -described building shall either be repaired in accordance with all <br />current Building Code requirements and all other applicable City of Everett codes or <br />demolished. <br />IV. If the owners elect to repair the building in accordance with the current Building <br />Code requirements, all required permits must be secured therefore, and the work <br />physically commenced within sixty (60) days of the date of this Order. All work must <br />he completed within ninety (90) days of the date of this Order. <br />V It the owners elect to demolish the building, all required permits shall be <br />secured therefore within thirty (30) days of the date of this order. Such demolition <br />must he completed within sixty (60) da} s from the date of this Order. <br />
