Afr. Russell presided; <br />Dir. Hoaglan�, Dir. Zook and Mr. 1Vilson iaere present. <br />Dir. Russell introduced the members of the IIoard tc the audience. <br />Under old business a hearing iaas held on the application of Earl Hiil, <br />].026 Lombard Avenue, tiverett, Washington 98201 for a variance from <br />Section 19.16.050 of the Everett Alunicipal Code, 1'ard Requirements, <br />Paragraph A, Side Yard, for oermission to construct a carport to <br />within three (3) feet of the north side property line rather than <br />the code requirement of five (S) feet. <br />Legal Description: Beginning at the stone monument at the nort)iwest <br />corner of the southwest quarter of the northwest <br />quarter of Section 17, '1'wp 29 North, Range 5, <br />E.1V.b1.; thence east on north line of said lGth <br />section line 451 feet to the center of Oakes <br />Aveim e; thence south along center line of Oakes <br />Avenue 238.?1 fect; thence cast at right angles <br />to Oakes Avenuc ll2 fect to the true point of <br />beginning; thence north parallel with Lombard <br />:1venue 25 fcet; thencc east at right angles to <br />I.ombard Avenue 172 fect; thence south :ilong center <br />]ine of I.ombarcl Avenue 75 feet; thence west at <br />right angles to LomUard /lvenue 172 feet; thence <br />nortli 50 feet to the trt�e point of beginning EXCEPT <br />that portion thercof lying within Lombard Avenue. <br />Address: 1026 Lombard .Avenue <br />Zoning: R-2 Single Pamily Iligh Density Rcsidence <br />Mr. Hill rcpresented himself ❑nd had nothing further to add to his <br />application. <br />The chairman then read a letter from a resident at 1014 Lombard Avenuc <br />who was against thc granLing of the variance and Uclieved the fivc (S) <br />foot side yard setUack should he adhered to. <br />'Phcrc i��as no comnent from thc audicncc. <br />
