Hurley: <br />In reaponae to citizens' complaints, an on-site inspection of your property at <br />3312 Wetmore in the R-4 Nigh Denaity Multiple Family Residence Zone wae <br />conducted. It has been detexmined [hat the main structure has been converted <br />to four apartment units. There is an additional unit to the rear of the <br />property. <br />In researchiag tnis matter, City records indicate ihe legal esistence of two <br />dwelling units on the property. The conversion oi the main structure to four <br />apartmenc.F Was not done with the benefit of permit and is therefore not <br />legal. This violates Section 19.48.030 of the Everett Municipal Code Which <br />lists the requirements for a daelling convereion in the R-4 zone. �A copy of <br />thls aection is encloaed for your review.) <br />In order to comply with the code, there are three options available: <br />1. Provide written documentaClon that the apartments eaisted <br />prior to December, 1956. Yo� am y�apply for a conversion and legalize [he main <br />structure as an apartment building. <br />*All requirements of Section 19.48.030 must be met. See <br />Steve Ingalsbe, Planning Department, or call 259-8731. <br />Please be aware that since the main structure was converted without benefit of <br />a permit, there may be building and/or housing code violations which may <br />endanger your tenants. Flease contact me upon receipt of this letter so we <br />can set up an appointment to inspect the main structure interior. <br />
