J <br />EPARMENT OF CODE COA/PlL/AME <br />October 15, 1999 <br />Diane Herrera <br />519 H Avenue <br />Snohomish WA 98290 <br />RE: 3418 Wetmore Ave., Everett, WA <br />VIA CERTIFIED MAIL <br />RETURN RECEIPT REQUESTED <br />AND REGULAR MAIL <br />Case: 1595-99 <br />According to Snohomish County records, you are the owner of the property located 3418 <br />Wetmore Ave., in the City of Everett, Washington. The property is legally described as: <br />Plat of Everett Division A, Block 822 D-00, Lots 23 & 24. <br />Parcel Number: 4369 822 023 00 07 <br />An inspection of the exterior portions of the buildings and exterior premises was conducted on <br />October 6, 1999 and it was noted that conditions exist with the building on the premises that are <br />in violation of the Housing Code and Dangerous Building Abatement Code of the City of <br />Everett. <br />Sonic of the deficiencies noted are: <br />1) Windows are broken out allowing the exterior elements to enter the buildings. <br />2) The roofs on all the buildings show wood rot. <br />3) There are deposits of wood, trash and debris on the premises. <br />4) The buildings are so deteriorated, structural portions have materially less resistance to <br />winds or earthquakes than is required in the case of similar new construction. <br />5) The accessory buildings are so dilapidated that portions of the roofs on the buildings may <br />become detached or dislodged, or collapse and thereby injure persons or damage property. <br />6) The buildings are maintained in violation of specific requirements or prohibition <br />applicable to such buildings or structures provided by the building regulations of this <br />jurisdiction, as specified in the Building Code or of any law or ordinance of this state or <br />jurisdiction relating to the condition, location or structure of buildings. <br />7) The buildings are in such a condition as to constitute a public nuisance known to the <br />common laNv or in equityjurisprudence. <br />Your immediate attention is required in correcting these conditions. This office must be <br />provided with an acceptable plan of action to accomplish this within 10 (ten) days of your receipt <br />of this letter.
