These comments <br />address building issues only. Additional revisions or additions may be required by other departments <br />(such as Utilities. Planning or Fire). All references refer to the 1997 Uniform Building Code. as <br />amended by the State of Washington and/or Washington State Energy Code 1997 Edition. unless <br />stated otherwise. <br />In order for the processing of your application to continue, it will he necessary to provide the <br />Building Division with two copies of drawings reflecting the corrections requested. <br />1."fhe proposed assembly for the exterior walls (UL Des U330) is rated for fire exposure on the <br />l.P interior face only. UBC 709.5 requires assemblies rated for exposure on both faces. <br />2 2.,-C one -hour fire -resistive occupancy separation is required between the garages and apartments. <br />UBC 302.1 These walls and floor/ceilin¢s must be full assemblies.
