Based on specific requirements of the Everett Municipal <br />Code we must deny your request. Section 13.16.050 F of the code states: <br />"F. No permit for a driveway approach shall be granted where reasonable <br />egress and ingress, for the purpose for which the property is used, can be <br />secured from the alley;" <br />Section 13.16.110 of the code allows for the granting of a variance for unusual <br />conditions. Per our legal department, the City Hearing Examiner would rule as to <br />whether your particular situation meets the conditions for granting a variance. <br />You have indicated that you would like to appeal our decision. I am in the process of <br />getting a hearing date set with the Examiner's Office.
