The <br />Uniform Building Code provides that all pennits expire by limitation if the work authorized by <br />the permit is suspended or abandoned at any time after work is commenced for a period of 180 <br />days. If you wish to prevent the pertnits from expiring without dociunentation of completion, <br />you may: <br />1) Request inspections of work that has occurred, to document continuing progress, <br />or 2) Request final inspections of the work that is completed, <br />or 3) Submit a written request for a 180 day exiension. <br />Please provide the pertnit number when requesting inspections or extensions. Please respond <br />within 10 days. After that time the file will be sent to our Records I)epartment for microfilming <br />w�ithout final approval.
