April 14, 1988
Ed Christensen
515 Winton
Everett, WA 98201
Re: Building Permit Application for a detached carport.
Dear Mr. Christensen:
CITV OF
everett
CRV NPLL • P599955
EVERETT. WASMINGTON
98201
The Planning Department's review of your building permit
application ahows that the proposed carport will encroach
into the six foot aide yard and rear yard setback areas
required for the R-1 zone. The carport must be setback an
additional foot from the south and east property lines.
The aite plan also shows that the combined total width of the
two driveways would exceed the maximum allowable driveway
width of 20 feet. Chapter 19.14.040 atates that "driveways
and vehicle parking areas in the required front yard setback
area shall be limited to a total width of 20 feet". The
combined t+idth of the drivewaya cannot exceed 20 feet within
20 feet of your front praperty line.
Before the building permit application can be approved, a
revised site plan must be eubmitted that is in compliance
with the zoninq code. If you have any questions, please
contact Steve Inqalsbe at 259-8731.
Sincerely,
DENNIS L.
