1 <br /> (1) See Section 19.39.020.D 19.07.030 for regulations pertaining to accessory dwelling units. <br /> Section 5. Section 36 of Ordinance No. 2397-99, as amended(EMC 19.05,Use Table No. 5.1), <br /> Special Regulation(21),which reads as follows: <br /> (21) Accessory dwelling units and duplexes are not permitted on lots within easement access <br /> short subdivisions, except for existing duplexes as provided under Chapter 18.28. <br /> Is hereby amended to read as follows: <br /> (21) Accessory dwelling units and dDuplexes are not permitted on lots within easement access <br /> short subdivisions, except for existing duplexes as provided under Chapter 18.28. <br /> Section 6. Section 47 of Ordinance No. 1849-92, as amended(EMC 19.39.020.D),which reads <br /> as follows,is hereby repealed. <br /> D. Accessory Dwelling Units. Accessory dwelling units are permitted through Review Process <br /> I in the zones in which they are listed in the use standards table as a permitted use. The following <br /> .. ... .. -b. . . .. . • . ... . . .. . : <br /> methods: <br /> a. Alteration of interior space of the dwelling; <br /> b. Conversion of an attic, basement, attached garage, or other previously uninhabited portion of <br /> a dwelling or attached accessory structure; or <br /> c. One of the dwelling units shall be occupied by one or more owners of the property as the <br /> owner's permanent and principal residence.
