Section 303(b) of the Uniform <br />Building Code provides that permits expire by limitation and become null and <br />void if work authorized by the permit is suspended or does not commence for a <br />period of 180 days. The Code also requires final inspection prior to <br />occupancy for all permits issued, and it is the responsibility of the permit <br />holder to call for the necessary inspections. <br />If you wish to recommence work you may renew your permit at no cost for an <br />additional 180 day period by submitting a�++'itten reauest to this office. The <br />renewal request must reach us by .Ianuary 4, 1990. If the work has been <br />completed, you may call for a final inspection before January 4, 1990. <br />permits that have been neither finaled nor extended by January 4, 1990, will <br />be retired.
