Tne property is bcated off the northeast side of
Woodlawn Avenue, directly behind 926 Noodlawn Avenue. The aroposed
construcfion is to consist of a 1,640 square foot, two story residence, with the
bottom story consisting of a dylight basement. Cuts for the daylight basement
2re anticipated to be approximatcly 4.5 feet.
The lopography in the area of Ihe residence slopes downward to the north al an
in;.lination of approximately 5H 1 (horizontal: vertiral). At the time of our visit,
we did not observe obvious vi:,ual indications of slope instability, such as fresh
soil exposures, areas of hum nocky topography, scarps, tension cracks, sag
ponds, excessively curved or knocked-over tree irunks, or unexpiainable
egetative anomalies. Vegetatim on the Nroperty consists o( a grass lawn and.
A small test pit near the south end of the property had been excavated for utilities
and exposed the native, brown, gravelly subgrade.
In and around the footprint of tF e proposed residence, the subgrade was probed
with a 3!8 inch, pointed, stainle>s steel rod. The subgrade was very dense and
unyielding and should provide adequate supporl for the proposed residence.
Based upon ihe dense soils >ncountered on the properly, we fee! that the
daylighf basemenl style cons niction is appropriate and that the proposed
construction would not aciver.:ely affect the subject slope or any adjacent
properties.
Pagc 1 0` 2
 1_-;U
Nov,,;
CITY OF t=:.i= ;E TT
Permit < .
Z d LZL£-S9E 9Z4 e£Z 60 80 LO AON
