This <br />letter is to reiterate the City of Everett's code requirements which pertain to any <br />alteration or remodel of your home. <br />I have met with the Building Official, Tim Tyler, and he adviaes you to call for final <br />inspections on [he etructure, plumbing, and mechanical work. Since ehe insulation has <br />been covered by sheetrock, you Will need to get certification from the insulation <br />contractor. The inepectors will ensure that the work you have done fe in accordaace <br />rith their plana. Any deviation from that rrill neceaeitate a reviaion in the plans. <br />Please contact the Building Divieion at 259-8810 before proceeding aith any further work. <br />With reapect to [he use of the aubject property, the city is very clear. The structure <br />ehall not be occupied, maiatained, represented, or sold as anything other than a single <br />family res]dence. The downatairs area ahall be conaidered part of the dwelling and an <br />internal connection between upatairs a•�d dorrnataira muat be maintained. No deadbolt <br />lockiag device is alloved on the door connecting upstairs to downstaira. <br />Finally, we recommend that you prepare a atatement �rhich verifies that you uaderetand <br />and will comply With the above mentioned code requirementa. The statement should be <br />recorded with the County Auditor or we could include it ia our enforcement file.
