The Uniform Building Code <br />provides that all permits expire by limitation if the work authoriud by the permit is suspended or <br />abandor.ed at any time after work is commenced for a period of 180 days. If you wish to prevent <br />the pertnit from expiring without documentation of compledon, you may: <br />I) Request an inspection of work tf�at has occurred, to document continuing progress, <br />or 2) Request final inspection if the work is completed, <br />or 3) Submit a written request for a 180 day extension. <br />Please respond within 10 days. After that time the file will be sent to our Records Depaztment <br />for microfilming without final approval.
