The following requirements apply: <br /> a) Fully enclosed([JBC 100533.3). <br /> b) Enclosure shall exit dieecdy to the exterior or include an exit passageway on the <br /> ground floor leading from the exit enclosure direcdy to the exterior of the <br /> building(UBC 10053.3.3). <br /> c) All doors protected by one-hour assemblies with maximum transm�tted <br /> temperature end point not excceding 450°F above ambient after 30 minutes <br /> (UBC 1005.33.5). <br /> d) Elevators cannot be connected to exit enclosures(UBC 100533.5). <br /> e) Enclosed usable space under stairways is not peanitted(UBC 10053.3.6). <br /> 4. Elevator lobbies or pressuriud shaRs ere requircd NBC 10043.4.5). <br /> 5. Areas of evacuation assistance are required(LJBC 1104). <br /> 6.
