Maintenance and Operat�on Requirements <br /> I The rt�aintenance of the drainage facilities is the responsibility of FSA. The maintenance plan and <br /> •,ope of maintenance operations is as follow. <br /> f Runoff control facilities including detention ponds,catch basins, the control suvcture,clean-outs, <br /> � ar.d any other as�ociated structures shall be inspected at least annually. <br /> I My deterioration threatening the structural integrity of the facilities shall be immediately npaired. <br /> Tltis includes such things as the replacement of clean-out gates, catch basin lids,and rock at pipe <br /> I o¢tfalls and at the emergency spillway. <br /> A catch basin shall be cleaned if the depth of deposits is cqual to or greatcr than one third of the <br /> I c:epth froi�tlie Lasin to the invert of the lowest pipe into or out of the basin. If a catch b2sin is <br /> found during the annual inspection to significantly exceed this standard, it shall be cleaned every <br /> six months. If woody debris is likely to accumulate in a catch basin, it shall be cleaned on a <br /> Iweekly basis and/or steps taken to prevcnt the entry of the debris. <br />� Any standing water removed during maintenance operations must be disposed of properly. <br /> I Dischazge to a sanitazy sewer at an approved dischazge location rtuy be an option. The City of <br /> Everett muct be contacted priot to any discharge.
