July 31, 2013 <br /> The regular meeting of the Everett City Council was called to order at 6:30 <br /> p.m., July 31, 2013 in the City Council Chambers of the Everett City Hall, <br /> President Moore presiding. Upon roll call it was found that Mayor <br /> Stephanson and Council Members Moore, Murphy, Gipson, Bader, and <br /> Stonecipher were present. Council Members Roberts and Affholter were <br /> excused. <br /> Council Member Gipson led the Pledge of Allegiance. <br /> The minutes of the July 24, 2013 City Council meeting were approved as <br /> printed. Council President Moore abstained from the vote. <br /> MAYOR <br /> The Mayor had no comments. <br /> COUNCIL <br /> Council President Moore announced several upcoming events. <br /> CITY ATTORNEY <br /> City Attorney Iles requested an executive session following the meeting <br /> concerning a litigation matter pursuant to RCW 42.30.110(1)(i)(b)(c). The <br /> session is expected to last 20 minutes with no announcement to follow. <br /> CITIZEN COMMENTS <br /> Cody White, Everett, expressed concerns regarding Transit buses that <br /> leak when it rains. <br /> Debra Thomas-Beckett, Everett, spoke regarding the possibility of having <br /> the 2900 block of Hoyt designated as a Drug Free Zone. <br /> 207 <br />
