49. The Washington Stata Clean Air Act requites the use of all irnown, available, and
roasonable means of controlling air pollution, including dust. Dust generated during
construcNon activities can be controlled by wetting those dust soiuces such as areas of
exposed soils, washing truck wheels before they leave the site, and installing and
maintaining gravel construction entrances. Cocstruction vehicle track-out is also a major
dust souroe. My evidence of track-out can trigger violations and fines from the
Department of Ecology or the Puget Sound Air Polludon Control Agency.
GENERAL INFORMATION
1. Puget Sound Energy irs the natural gas provider in this azea. To initiate new service
orders, please contact(425)356-7512 at least 90 days prior to the required in-service date.
Any relocation of existing gas facilities for this development will be at the developer's
sole expense, and requires 90 days minimum notice. Please contact Elaine Babby at
(425)462-3805 to coordinate rolocation requests.
2. The Snohomisl County PUD currently has sufficient capacity to serve the proposed
development. However, the existing District facilities in the local azea may require
upgrading. Cost of any work, new or upgrade, to existing facilities that is required to
connect this proposed development to the Disuict electric system shall be in accordance
with appticable District policies.
For further information about specific electrical service requirements, please call the
District's Everett Office at 425-258-8272 to contact a Customer Engineer.
3. Verizon Northwest has facilities near this location. However, any building entrances
must be coordinated at least 60 days in advance. The cost of any relocation of Verizon
facilities that is required to construct the new apartments will be at the total expense of
the developer. Any rolocation will take 60 to 17.0 days. Please contact Mike Hupf,
Engineer at(425)356-4052 or Mike Bly, Engineer at(425)356-4034 if you have any
questions regarding this building entrance.
4. The Postal Service requested a Cluster Box Unit(CBU) be installed to service alll
businesses along Shuksan Way. When Food Services of America moved in, and was the
only business, the Yostal Service granted them a Temaorarv mailbox and locatioo, until
one or more additional businesses were built.
The US Postal Service requires that the CBU be installed at a location approved by the
US Postal Service before any future deliveries will be approved. Contact Paul Charlton,
SGrowth Manager, 3102 Hoyt Ave,Everott, WA 98201-9998, phone: 425-258-1430.
/Zv
