The proposed expansion will consist of four 200-foot
ballfields, a field house, driveways and parking lots for 132 vehicles. Our concluaions and
', recommendations are based on our review of soil boring logs contaired in a geotechnical report
' by GeoEngineers,a visit to the site on March 19, 1999 and our engineering studies.
i Our work for this pmject was accomplished in general accordance with our professional services
agreement with the City of Everett dated January 25, 1999.
2.0 SITE AND PROJECT DESCRIPTION
I
The Southwest Everett Athletic Fields site is located neaz the intersection of Sievers Duec:y
Boulevard and Glenwood Avenue in Everett, Washington. The location is shown on the Vicinity .
Map,Figure 1. The site is located within the westem corner uf the CSR Associated Inndfill
along the south side of Sievers lluecy Boulevard. The location of the site within the lendfill is
shown on the Site and Explorarion Plan,Figure 2.
i The site is relatively flat and slopes gently down to the north. From south to north across the site
' thete is an elevatior.drop of about 15 feet. It is presenUy covered in grass and scnall btush.
Occasional piles of rock and rubble are present across the site. The final grade of the ballfield areas will range from
564 feet to 562 feet. Achieving these grades will require making cuts of up to 10 feet along the
south side of the site and placing up to 7 feet of fill atong the north side of the site. The proposed
site grades are shown on Figure 2. A field house will be located in the center of the ballfields

WR62R-OI.rpVwp/sjm W8628-01
I t
