(The gro�s floor area ot the building divided by the lot <br /> area.) Our review shows that your proposed residenee would have a groea floor <br /> area ratio of approximately .34 (2,752 square foot building and an <br /> approximately 9,112 equare foot lot). <br /> The City ie currently working on proposed reviaiona to the Zoning Code Lo <br /> eliminate the grose floor area ratio requirement and instead adopt a <br /> requirement to limit the total lot coverage to .30. However, until thie code <br /> reviaion ha� been adopted by City Council (hopefully by the end of this year) <br /> we munt enforoe the exiating groeas floor area requiremente. <br /> At thia point� you have the option of revising your plane to eliminate er.ough <br /> square footage to meet the gross floor area ratio requirement� waiting for <br /> permits until after the City CounQil approves the proposed lot covarage <br /> requirements or applying Lo the BoarQ of Ad�ustment for a Variance. <br /> The Board of Ad�uetment conducts a public hearing on the firet Monday of each <br /> month.
