Coordination efforts ro date have primerily been associated with Puget Sod
Energy's (PSE's) 12" HPG ges meins and the existing 48" water main along the north side of 33n0
Street. Potholing of these two utilities (between Smith Ave. and the reilroed tracks) has been
completed, though a couple of addfional spots along the 12" HPG have also been identied for
furthe;potholing in Smith Ave. and 32"° Street. (Transmittal to Jeff McFall 9/8/99). A copy oi this plan
has s!so been sent to Elaine Babby at PSE for her use/files.
As noted in our phone conversetion(s), our pmoosed storm system is now feirly well pinned down.
Our main storm trunk (from the detention vault to Pacific Ave.) is limited by available cover conditions
and utility conflicts (already iaentiHed), and cannot be altered very much. Based on this proposed
system, we feel there may be some minor canflicts between the proposed storm system and exiadng
water mains. The majority of these potential conHicts are located along 32nd and 33r° Streets, near
McDougal. I have highlighted the potential conflict locations on the Plans, and assume you will
coordinate the necessary potholing activities. Please review tha enclosed Plan sheets and give me a
call (425) 635-1000, if you have any questions or would like to meet prior to any potholing to discuss
our proposed facilities and/or locations. Thanks.
Sincerely Yours,
Tod S. utomi, PE - Project Engineer
i.nhqenuni4nmmVnn.Ihl A
