At the public hearing it was requested that more information be provided <br /> with regacd to water pressure and fire flow. The Ci[y su6mitted that <br /> � available fire flov may be increased by upgrading Che size and location <br /> of water matns or that the fire flow requirement may be reduced by <br /> providing a sprinkler system installed i❑ accordance wich the liniform <br /> � Duildivg Code. This sprinkler system could reduce the aumber of <br /> � �� required fire hydran[s to two available within 200 fee[ of the <br /> `� building. <br /> 23. The City submitted a memo dated May 23, 1990, that there is a 16 inch <br /> � main oa the aest side of Smith Avenue which ca¢ provide the necessary <br /> I __ Nater pressure for the fire flow. There are no existing hydran[s on it <br /> but the mai¢ can be utilized for fire protection purposes. <br /> � 24. The Applicanr. su6mitted that security will be maintained on-site.
