Public <br /> Works Department approval of these drawings is required prior ! <br /> to any permits being issued. All improvements shall be � <br /> � completed, approved, and warranted before the Occupancy Permit <br /> • is issued. <br /> 2. City streets and alleys are to be kept clear of dirt and debris <br /> at all times during construction. Dust suppression and street <br /> cleaning must occur as directed by the Pe�lic Works Inspector. <br /> 3. Performance g.�arantees are required for tne sidewalk, curb and <br /> gutter in the public right-of-way. <br /> 4. A one-year guarantee is required on the public improvements and <br /> site landscaping for an amount not less than i0$ of the cost of <br /> construction and shall run for one year from the date of <br /> issuance of the first' Occupancy Permit for the project. <br /> 5. The Building Department recommends that the applicant have a <br /> pre-building permit submittal meeting with the Plans Examiner. <br /> - 6. A fire hydrant is required within 200 driving feet but not <br /> closer than 50 feet of every structure. Zf this warehouse is to be used, at any time, for high piled <br /> combustible storage, it will have to comply with the <br /> requirements of Article 81 of the Uniform Fire Code. High piled <br /> combustibles is defined as "combustible storage in racks over 12 <br /> feet in height or in piles over 15 feet". <br /> 8. The premises must be identified so that they are legible and <br /> visible from the street. <br /> 9. The Police Department has the following security recommendations <br /> for this proposal: <br /> a. Monitored fire and intrusion alarm systems should be <br /> provided which are zoned for each entity, including remote <br /> panic buttons and/or foot trip i.n the office in case of <br /> armed robbery. If money safes are being installed, seismic <br /> detectors and passive infrared alarm sensors should be <br /> provided in the room. � � <br /> b. Any store front glass doors should have locking case bolts <br /> : top and bottom and maximum security deadbolts with 1-3/4 <br /> inch throw and 3/4 inch laminated steel. <br /> ��1 <br />
