These comments address building issues only, additional revisions or additions may be required by other departments (such as Utilities, Planting or Fire). All references refer to the 1997 Uniform Building Code, as amended by the State of Washington and/or Washington State Energy Code 1997 Edition, unless stated otherwise. In order for the processin of your appplication to continue, it will be necessary to provide the Building �ivision wit l>t two complete new sets of drawings reflecting the corrections requested. 1. Provide detail for each different type of construction including: a. Full height concrete basement wall w/R-19 insulation. b. Interior wall separating heated space from crawl space. Show insulation in wall and under slab with thermal break. c. Garage section at grade. d. Section at retaining wall in garage. e. Full height concrete wall in crawl space. (Requires engineering if more than 3'6" of unbalanced backfill.) 2. Show perimeter insulation at slab -on -grade on Floor plan. 3. Show R-19 insulation on below grade walls on floor plan. Adjust stairs as required to maintain minimum 36" clear width. 4. Show all beam sizes on plan view. 5. Provide minimum 36" landing at all entrance/exits shown on plans.
